BSW Timber Group engage DriverMetrics to Improve Driver Safety

BSW Timber Group, (part of Tilhill Forestry – the largest integrated forestry business in the UK) is using DriverMetrics digital driver safety programme for its 200+ employees who drive for work. BSW’s drivers are undertaking DriverMetrics scientifically validated risk assessment, followed by a programme of targeted eLearning modules, designed to reduce individual crash risk.

The eLearning modules address the key behavioural risk factors for fleet and truck drivers, including fatigue, work related pressures, frustrations and distractions.

Tony Lockey, Group Learning and Development Manager at BSW Timber said: “the attention to detail and customer service offered by the team at Drivermetrics is second to none. They have helped us to review our current company and designated driver people and allowed us to take training further in cases where this has felt appropriate. Figures have been improved since working with Drivermetrics in terms of any accidents which is great news.”
