DriverMetrics® Launches ‘Road to the Future’ Initiative
We are at the precipice of significant changes in transportation and mobility in the coming decade, with new transportation innovations anticipated to lead to a step change on the roads and produce substantial benefits in supporting our future transport system.
Over the next 12 months, DriverMetrics® ‘Road to the Future’ initiative will help decision makers understand the impact of these changes on road safety and the extent to which the anticipated benefits might be realised. A series of white papers, blog articles and online events will focus on the rise of assisted, automated and autonomous vehicles in terms of the requirements for a new approach to driver education. We will also consider the impact of the move towards electric vehicles and how organisations can maintain and improve safety standards as they roll out new vehicles within their fleets.
